Bharat Shah

Founder Chairman

Bharat Shah’s visionary leadership has been the driving force behind Kenafric’s growth. With a deep commitment to regional industrialization, he champions the manufacturing sector, fosters industry-government collaboration, and advocates for business-friendly policies.

He serves on the Board of Directors of the Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) and holds Board and advisory roles across diverse industries, reinforcing Kenafric’s strategic position in the market.

Nilesh Shah

Founder & Senior Executive Director

With over three decades of experience, Nilesh Shah has played a pivotal role in building Kenafric’s sales and customer service excellence. He now drives the Group’s expansion into real estate through Kenafric Properties.

Known for his dedication to service, he is also passionate about personal growth and sharing spiritual wisdom, bringing a holistic approach to leadership.

Ketan Shah

Founder & Vice Chairman

Ketan Shah has been instrumental in establishing world-class operations and technical expertise at Kenafric.

As a former Group Managing Director, he continues to shape the business by mentoring leadership, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as the key liaison between the Board and management. His strategic oversight strengthens Kenafric’s long-term sustainability and industry leadership.

Mayur Shah

Founder & Senior Executive Director

Mayur Shah has been a catalyst for Kenafric’s rapid expansion, particularly in export markets across Africa. A strong advocate for customer-centric growth, he ensures Kenafric remains agile and responsive to market needs.

His passion for people extends beyond business—he actively drives the Group’s CSR initiatives, fostering positive community impact.

Mikul Shah

CEO & Executive Director

As CEO, Mikul Shah steers Kenafric’s vision and long-term growth strategy. He leads the Group’s M&A initiatives, strengthens stakeholder relationships, and drives the commercial agenda across business units.

With a Master’s degree from Manchester Business School and nearly two decades at Kenafric, Mikul brings strategic foresight and global perspective to the Group’s leadership.

Chehar Shah

COO & Executive Director

Chehar Shah co-leads Kenafric’s vision and growth strategy, with a sharp focus on portfolio innovation and talent development.

With extensive experience in operations and market expansion, he plays a key role in shaping Kenafric’s future. Since joining in 2009, his leadership has helped drive efficiency, agility, and a culture of continuous improvement. He holds a Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering.

Sundararaman Pattabiraman (Sundar)

CFO

Sundar co-leads Kenafric's growth strategy and oversees the financial strategy, governance, and long-term fiscal health. With over 25 years of experience in FMCG, telecom, and e-commerce, he brings deep commercial and financial expertise to the Group.

Since joining in 2024, he has been instrumental in aligning financial operations with business objectives, ensuring robust risk management, and driving sustainable growth.

In the same year, we decided to put all our focus into manufacturing.

In the early 1990s, we entered the confectionery sector, leading to the creation of Kenafric Industries Ltd.
